Economic and Demographic Information

Rossford is currently home to more than 6,500 residents in the state of Ohio and is growing at a tremendous rate.  The people living in the area are very diverse, young and highly educated, which all contributes to the areas successful business community.

Twenty two percent of the population 25 and older in 1990 had a bachelor’s degree or higher.

In 1998, 5,408 houses were sold with an average price of $115,730 according to the Toledo Board of Realtors. Houses are very affordable in the Toledo area compared to the national sales price of $130,600 in 1998. The monthly cost of renting a 2 bedroom apartment in the Toledo MSA is about $475.
