University of Toledo women’s basketball star Sammi Mikonowicz will be returning to her home
court at Rossford High School to once again hold her youth camp from June 17th - June 20th!
Sammi finished her high school career at Rossford as the Division 2 player of the year, and
Salutatorian of her class finishing with a 4.1 GPA. She holds the record for most career points,
rebounds, and steals. Last season with the Rockets, Sammi was a 3rd team all MAC selection
and eclipsed 1,000 points on her career!
Camp is open to all youth going into 1st - 6th grade and will be held at Rossford high school.
Campers will be instructed by Sammi and the Rossford high school girls basketball team and
coaching staff. Camp instruction will include: Ball handling, Shooting, Offense, Defense, and
Fundamentals. There will be skills contests and daily games.
All campers will get a t-shirt and must bring gym shoes and a water bottle with them. Cost for
this 4-day camp is $50 per participant. Cash or checks made payable to Rossford Schools will
be accepted.

Rossford Riverfest
The Rossford Business Association and the Rossford Recreation Department will host the Annual Rossford Riverfest. Rossford Riverfest includes something for all ages, food vendors, beer garden, live band, and fireworks.

Valentine's Parents Night Out
Enjoy a night out around Valentine's Day! Kids will enjoy pizza, crafts, snacks, movies & games while parents enjoy a night out. Specific date TBD
Easter Egg Hunt
Free community event at Ed Ford Park where kids can collect eggs and exchange them for candy
